Been gone since dA went to the Dark Side...
...and it seemed that enough time has passed to check in to see if anyone from the Golden Age of deviant/Art has survived and it is good to see some familiar names. Yes, I gave up on d/A after 12 years, quit cold turkey. It was rough the first week or so, not making my daily rounds, viewing posts and communicating with those who I followed. I've looked at a lot of art websites and none are even close to the Golden Days of d/A, but then d/A isn't anything like d/A any more. We had a good run while it lasted, but along came those who thought their plan was better and changed it all, thus proving that "change" is NOT a synonym for "better". The problems with the Dark Side of Eclipse are many and have been covered in an overwhelming number of discussions all over deviantArt.
Reference:
Much of the functionality that users expect and want of a website dedicated to artistic endeavors is gone from Eclipse. I have no doubt that my protest is a useless tilting at windmills gesture because dA in the past has always ignored their user base, and since wix is the owner of dA they will push their new de

Wow, one wonders how some of those scenes ever made it past the MPPDA!
