On The Turntable In 1951: 'All That Wine Is Gone' - Big Jay McNeely (Three Dots & a Dash)
No, I do not have this record. In fact, I have never even heard the song. I just like the title and artist name.

It appears there is some kind of rodent infestation in this 1951 Chevrolet Styleline DeLuxe Station Wagon.

The shift lever tells us that this Chevy is equipped with 'Automatic Drive' (Powerglide transmission in its early days) according to the 1951 Chevrolet Sales brochure. Most of you know I love the old sales brochure language written by the Mad Men of the day. Example: the dashboard is the "Safety-Sight Instrument Panel" and the car is equipped with "Jumbo-Drum Brakes" and has "Dubl-Life rivetless brake linings".

Notice the wood door panels and tough vinyl seat surfaces. The rodent appears to be a non-factory option. Sweetie remains unamused and has warned me to finish up with this car so we can pick out a nice convertible for our wine tasting Road Trip of the Day. I won't tell her that all that wine is gone.
