Looking - For Something by RoadTripDog Looking - For Something by RoadTripDog
Whenever I see George in a nice pose and I point the camera at him, he starts walking toward me. I think he wants to eat the camera, even though I have told him many times it does not taste like tuna.

I did not have to wait very long for George to show his displeasure. This afternoon I went out to the Jeep and 'someone' had barfed up what looked like cat food on the hood. I thought about posting a photo of it but decided that future retribution would be worse. And besides, a photo of cat barf is not generally considered fave-worthy!

I had a similar problem when we had dogs - Tobi (my dog) knew that if I had the camera out - there was something cool to look at - and she would start jumping and barking and running around looking for whatever I was shooting - which always ruined the cute shots of HER...

Personally - I think George is going to kick your butt - he looks PISSED!

George is actually a very nice cat but yes, he does perpetually look pissed. He rules the property here through mind control. I don't know how he does it, but sometimes George looks me in the eye and all of a sudden I feel compelled to make tuna salad sandwiches. I always leave some of the water and a little bit of tuna in the can for George. I used to buy treats for George (he is the landlord's cat) but they stopped carrying them in the local stores and he only liked that one kind of cat treats. That was over a year ago but George still looks pissed at me when I come out my door and I don't have something for him. He also leaves dead rodents by the door and near my car for me to step on in the dark. Ewww! A cat lover told me that means he really likes me, but I think she secretly works a disinformation campaign for George. Excuse me, I suddenly feel the need for a tuna salad sandwich . . .

Wow - respect from the landlord's cat - that's pretty cool! :) (We had a cat that did that - something WRONG about the squish-crunch of a rodent under a bare foot... and the tiny little laugh coming from the furry shadow in the corner... or maybe that was just my imagination...
