Description

On The Turntable In 1956: 'One Hand Loose' - Charlie Feathers
"Give me one hand loose and I'll be satisfied."

I like both versions.

Back in my mis-spent youth, keeping "one hand loose" meant that you had one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand around your girl's s shoulders. If your girlfriend was able to get really close your "loose" hand wasn't exactly loose, but enough said about that. Sweetie and I are experts at driving like this. The bench seat helps but that floor shifter gets in the way. At least its an automatic transmission. That nice leather steering wheel wrap helps, although when it gets old and loose it should be replaced. I went through lots of these back in the 60s and 70s. Installing one of these was usually the first thing I did when I bought a car.
