On The Turntable In 1932: 'How Deep Is The Ocean?' - Guy Lombardo
Appropriate song for our Road Trip of the Day to the ocean, although we know the ocean is deep and are not wishing to find out how deep. We will trust Guy Lombardo to just tell us.

New in 1932: Radio City Music hall opened on December 27, 1932. The first show featured Ray Bolger, vaudeville song-and-dance man and the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, and dancing great Martha Graham. I have an ex-mother-in-law who was a Radio City Music Hall Rockette. Super cool.

This classic roadster features a hood and side panels covering the engine. Many roadsters omit the hood but I like them either way. The chrome side louvers add to the sharp appearance. Shiny!

This Ford was seen at a Chevrolet club swap meet and car show in 2010. There were a lot of non-Chevrolets there, including a Rolls-Royce (to be posted in the future) and a modern Mercury Marauder.

Sweetie has gone to pick up some sandwiches and our champagne is chilled and on ice. We are prepared. Our mode of transportation is classic. We are wearing sunglasses. We are on a mission!
